This year, I proudly celebrate 20 years as a member of the Association of Reflexologists!!

In 2005, I embarked on my journey as a Reflexologist, driven by a passion for helping others achieve balance and well-being through this wonderful therapy.
Now, twenty years later, I’m proud to celebrate two decades as a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), one of the most respected professional bodies for reflexologists in the UK.
Receiving a certificate and thank-you card from the AoR has been a wonderful acknowledgement and heartwarming reminder of the commitment I’ve maintained to my profession and my clients.
A milestone that has given me a moment to reflect on my journey as a Reflexologist and what it means to be part of such an esteemed professional organisation.
Why I’m Proud to Be an AoR Member
The AoR is one of the most respected professional bodies for reflexologists in the UK, and represents excellence in reflexology.
Being a member is more than just a title. It represents a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethical practice, and continuous professional learning and development.
This ensures my clients can trust they’re receiving treatments from someone who is properly qualified, insured, and continuously developing their skills.
Being part of such an established organisation has also provided me with invaluable resources and a supportive community. From access to the latest research and techniques to ongoing professional development opportunities, the AoR has helped me grow as a therapist and better serve my clients.

Why Choose a Reflexologist Who Is an AoR Member?
When looking for a Reflexologist and choosing someone who is a member of a reputable professional body like the AoR, you can have confidence in their qualifications, skills, and dedication to best practices.
Here are a few benefits:
Qualified and Insured: AoR members must meet strict qualification criteria and hold appropriate insurance. This safeguards you as a client.
Professional Standards: AoR Members commit to a code of practice and ethics, ensuring a professional and respectful experience for every client.
Ongoing Development: The AoR requires members to engage in continuous professional development, keeping their knowledge and techniques up to date.
Trust and Confidence: Knowing your Reflexologist is part of a respected organisation provides peace of mind that you’re in capable hands.
You can verify if a therapist is a member of the AoR by checking their therapist directory at www.aor.org.uk.
